Nella meravigliosa cornice naturale dell’alta Valtellina, la Granfondo Stelvio Santini, organizzata dall’U.S. Bormiese, in collaborazione con Santini Cycling Wear, è un’eccezionale vetrina internazionale, dal momento che, anno dopo anno, sono sempre di più gli atleti stranieri che si presentano sulla linea di partenza di Bormio e un’occasione imperdibile per sfidare i propri limiti fino ai 2.758 metri del passo dello Stelvio.

UNA FORMULA DI SUCCESSO: PERCORSI, CLASSIFICHE E MAGLIE
Anche per l’edizione 2018 saranno tre i percorsi di gara: un tracciato corto di 60 chilometri, uno medio di 138 e uno lungo da 151 chilometri che riserverà ai cicloamatori più allenati la durissima ascesa del Mortirolo.
Un’ulteriore conferma viene dalle classifiche. Come è stato per il 2017, anche per questa edizione verranno stilate complessivamente tre graduatorie: una classifica combinata che terrà conto dei tempi realizzati sulle tre salite di Teglio, Mortirolo e Stelvio; la classifica speciale del King (e della Queen) of the Mountain riservata agli atleti che faranno segnare il miglior tempo nelle singole ascese; e, naturalmente, l’elenco dei finisher con il tempo complessivo da Bormio al passo dello Stelvio.

Nel pacco gara consegnato ai partecipanti, ci sarà anche quest’anno l’immancabile jersey firmata Santini Cycling Wear, la maglia ufficiale della manifestazione, che dovrà essere indossata da tutti durante la corsa, così da rendere ancora più suggestivo e spettacolare il colpo d’occhio delle migliaia di partecipanti alla partenza e sul percorso.
